so i'm trying to get better about updating this blog once a week. but, since that hasn't in a few weeks, i'm trying to squeeze everything in to one night. here are some random pics from the last week or so.

lisa, brandi and kevin all came to claremore to celebrate my 30th birthday. of course, i forgot to take pictures all night. but, i got this one of lisa and quentin.

tic tac gets up in our faces to tell us he needs something. this is the 'i need to go out' position.

jackson and i got all dressed up for the annual OCCJ awards dinner. he got a new suit and i fit into my cocktail dress from last year. (it wasn't the same, but it fit) hooray.
aunt natalie watched quentin and lilly while jackson took me to tsunami for my birthday. we met up with jenny for some sushi. we had a great night.

quentin learned how to hold his toy last week. you still have to kind of put it in his hand, but he'll hold on to it for a while.

out on the town

i hosted a going away party for our friends, the spillmans. quentin and their baby, eli, had a great time getting to know each other. we all brought our kids with us out to lola's. it's a restaurant but we all kind of had the feeling we had our 'babies in a bar' (from 'sweet home alabama'). it was a great time. we're going to miss them! of course, i forgot to take a picture of them together... oh well. me and jackson

halloween

here are pics from Quentin's first halloween.

we went to aunt karen's in commerce for the big halloween party the weekend before halloween. we got there in time for lilly to go on the hayride. quentin hung out with bama kay.

lilly went as 'your worst nightmare' and quentin was a little bee.
