latest pics

just a couple new snapshots of quentin that I thought were cute. he's really filling out...

baby in a basket

Last Friday, I was helping cleaning out the garage at Mom's house. Quentin was hanging out with his cousins - Claire and Izzy - and Lilly. When I came back to check on him I found him like this... They made him a bed in a laundry basket and surrounded him with their Webkinz. He seemed to really enjoy it!

for aunt nat

This is for you, Nat. I haven't been good at taking photos of anyone - but Lilly and Jackson - with the baby. I'll try and do better. In the meantime, I have these photos of you from when you first met Quentin. Oh, and of course, Lilly made it into one of them... :)

soccer

Saturday I took the kids to Claire's soccer game. This is her first year to play and she's getting better every week. Soccer is a hard game - I had no idea. It's tiring just to watch! Plus, it was really hot. I thought it was going to be cool so I made Lilly wear capris instead of shorts, I dressed Quentin in his new little hoodie and pants, I wore long sleeves and jeans... Being that I still have some pounds too lose from being pregnant, I was sweating like never before! (nice to know, huh?) Lilly was quick to remind me that she wanted to wear shorts but I wouldn't let her. Oh well. So, we left a little early, but I'm pretty sure Claire's team won the game.
Claire plays offense. I'm learning a lot about soccer. Mostly, that it's an incredible workout and super frustrating. These girls work SO hard to get the ball all the way down the field to their goal just to have a defender kick it back down the other way. Geez.
I don't get to hold the baby when my sister is around.
Lilly and Izzy do stuff like pose for pictures while the game is going on. Is my sister a hot soccer mom, or what?
Izzy... as a little devil
And now... as a little angel.

the kids

I told Jackson the other night that I was going to take the kids to Claire's soccer game on Saturday. That's so weird... We have kids! I never called Lilly my "kid" but for some reason, I catch myself saying the "kids" quite a bit. I kind of laugh a little inside everytime I say it because it's so weird to have kids and not just one daughter. So here are some pics of the kids... Lilly can't help but pose - happy, sad, silly, whatever - for every photo. We're working on her "natural" look...
I think Quentin has a question...

Just waking up in the mornin...

There's nothing like seeing Quentin first thing in the morning.
He's so alert and content and happy to see me.

Sort of a smile...

I love this serious face!

Okay, enough pictures... Time to pick me up Mama.

awake?

I guess Quentin is going to start being awake more often now that he's 2 months old... We used to go shopping and he'd sleep all day, maybe waking once to eat. Now, he's like awake and wanting attention while I'm perusing the aisles of Target. Mom and I took him with us to Tulsa today. We'd get the stroller out to make toting him around the stores easier. By the time we left each store, he was in our arms and our purses were in the stroller we were pushing around. Oh well.

LOVE that crooked smile!
Quentin loves to look at lights, fans and blank space... makes him so happy, evidently.

latest quentin pics

thanks bama kay for the latest photos of baby q...

great grandparents

When he was a few weeks old, Quentin went to Stillwater with his parents to meet his great grandparents. He enjoyed sleeping most of the time he was there, especially in great grandma's arms.

Family pics

Here are some pictures of our family from our Aunt Rosemary's recent birthday party.
The Cousins - Claire, Lilly and Isabelle
Cousins Shelley and Jenna
Our family
Pops, Lilly and Izzy
Quentin really enjoyed the party. Look at his tiny legs!

Splish splash

I'm not sure if it's normal for a baby to love a bath as much as Quentin does... These photos are of his second bath, but he was just as calm in the first one. In fact, the first time, he almost fell asleep during his bath. I guess he's going to be a little fish like his sister.

Mini Family Vacation

Welcome to the new Myers Family blog... Here, we'll post photos, links and other items of interest to our family and friends.

Let's start by sharing pictures from our mini family vacation to Eureka Springs over the Labor Day weekend. (Note: Next time you're in big ES - DON'T stay at the Stonegate Inn...)

Other than the sketchy motel, we had a good time shopping, walking, cave exploring, eating and resting on our little vacation.

XOXO
Andrea
